The Canadian Gaming Association has welcomed the partnership signed earlier this week that is to find the National Hockey League (NHL) provide casino operator MGM Resorts International with proprietary in-game data for use by its sportsbooks.

The Canadian Gaming Association then declared that it hopes the NHL will now join its campaign to bring ‘this same degree of fan experience to Canada’ by calling for the repeal of paragraph 207(4)(b) of the nation’s Criminal Code to create single-event wagering available to aficionados across its homeland.
