Just a week after premiering a new affiliate support and online casino games and solutions programmer NetEnt has declared that a range of its titles are now available to players from the western Canadian province of British Columbia.
Based on an official media release from the Stockholm-based innovator, the introduction was made possible via an arrangement the state-owned British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has with International Game Technology (IGT) and marks the first time its games are available by gamers in Canada.
IGT Connect integration finish:
NetEnt said that it previously inked a deal that gave IGT consent to provide its games into the BCLC via the London-based firm’s IGT Connect integration layer innovation. The Swedish programmer declared this incorporation has now been finished to give aficionados across British Columbia the capability to enjoy a range of its names.
Debut ‘a significant milestone’:
Therese Hillman (pictured), the recently-installed Chief Executive Officer for the programmer, described the move to British Columbia as ‘a significant milestone’ in her business ’s efforts to expand across the whole of North America.
Hillman’s statement read…
“Entering regulated markets is a very important part of our plan going forward, especially within the World Lottery Association segment. I am sure that our exciting games will be much appreciated from the BCLC’s gamers. ”
The premiere of games from NetEnt in Canada comes only two weeks after the firm inked a deal to deliver its content to gamers in the tiny eastern European country of Lithuania by means of a tie-up with neighborhood iGaming operator leading Sport.
Henrik Fagerlund, Chief Product Officer for NetEnt AB, used a formal Tuesday press launch to detail he was ‘pleased’ to have agreed the partnership with Leading Sport since the arrangement has been put to further strengthen his firm’s place in ‘controlled markets.
