Leading developer and supplier of cutting-edge online and mobile games, Yggdrasil Gaming, has agreed a content deal with AB Trav och Galopp (ATG), Sweden’s principal horseracing operator.
According to the press release, the new partnership will see the provider of superior online gaming solutions supply the operator with its top-quality slots games in what will soon be a regulated market in Sweden.
Growing market:
The Stockholm-headquartered ATG, whose parent organization is the Swedish Trotting Association, offers thousands of players betting opportunities at approximately 900 race days every year across the Scandinavian Nordic country as well as in retail outlets and online.
Courtesy of the new agreement, ATG will be able to further enhance its leading horse racing offering with the developer’s portfolio of creative online casino slot title including its most recent releases Wolf Hunters, Hanzo’s Dojo and Penguin City.
The agreement precedes fresh legislation ratified in June that is due to introduce a regulated iGaming market to Scandinavia’s most populated nation from January 1, 2019.
CEO Elmqvist says:
Commenting on the new agreement, Chief Executive Officer for Yggdrasil, Fredrik Elmqvist said…
“Our range of innovative casino slots games has proven very popular throughout Europe, so we’re thrilled to be partnering with ATG, one of Sweden’s most respected operators who have a large, loyal and dedicated customer base. Our regulated market strategy is accelerating and we’re looking forward to the Swedish market opening next year.”
ATG also just recently inked a similar content deal with premium supplier of digitally distributed gaming systems NetEnt AB (NETB:Stockholm). The deal will reportedly see a range of its online games made available to players in Sweden from the first day of next year.
