In Washington, the Players and Spectators Event Center, located in Spokane Valley, is making plans to add a casino to the fray.
The Spokesman-Review reports that permits to change the existing floorplan at what its website names the ‘P&S Event Center’ have been filed with the city by JD’s Dragon Inc.
Changes to the building’s west side will be made to accommodate a 5,500 square foot casino.
The facility located at 12828 E. Sprague Ave. in Spokane County, which is operating under new ownership, will focus on “a first rate dining experience and entertainment for Spokane adults,” according to the site.
Spectators Bar & Grill already has a new menu, which reportedly features fresh ingredients, higher quality, and choice. The Players Bowling Center will also be receiving a makeover, with new TV screens and furniture. The arcade already has all new electronic games on offer.
The new casino addition, according to the news agency, is valued at upwards of $153,000. Lexington Commercial Inc., based in Spoken Valley, is the project’s general contractor, while the architect is South Henry Studios, also based in Spokane Valley.
Located east of Spokane, west of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, the city of Spokane Valley is the largest suburb of Spokane. The nearest casino to P&S Sports Center is The Black Pearl Poker Room & Casino, which is located in Spokane Valley at 2104 N Pines Rd.
The venue features seven poker tables with Hold ‘em and Omaha High, Blackjack variations, High Card Flush, Heads Up Hold’em, Players Edge 21 and a full-service bar and grill.
