Scientific Games Corporation celebrating Sweden success

American lottery and gaming machines innovator, Scientific Games Corporation, has announced that online casino and bingo solutions from its SG Digital subsidiary are now being utilized by Sweden’s state-owned gambling operator, Svenska Spel AB.

The Las Vegas-headquartered firm used an official Friday press release (pdf) to detail that its subordinate supplied the operator’s new Svenska Spel Sport and Casino division with its Open Gaming System (OGS) and Open Platform System (OPS) advances as well as an online bingo innovation in advance of early-January’s debut of a regulated iGaming market for Sweden.

Scientific moreover declared that the arrangement means that Svenska Spel Sport and Casino will now be able to offer its players ‘a vast [and] compelling gaming experience’ that encompasses ‘access to a large portfolio of casino titles’ such as the recently-premiered Strolling Staxx: Cubic Fruits video slot from NetEnt AB.
