The entire alternative lottery supplier with its partner, Gamevy, supplier and operator of real-money matches, will provide six advanced e-Instant matches to the Norwegian Lottery.
Manager of Product Management at NLS, Pall Palsson, said that the firm is “thrilled” that their offering has “recognized to be the ideal fit for Norsk Tipping’s complicated online games portfolio. NLS and Gamevy each suggested five innovative game concepts to Norsk Tipping within this mini-competition and each won three. This is a great validation of NLS’ approach to both create innovative game content in house and partner with leading industry suppliers like Gamevy. The end result of this approach for Norsk Tipping gamers is much more innovative games that will reach a younger target market and ignite player enthusiasm ” according to the official media release.
This latest deal falls within the March 2017 arrangement between NLS and Norsk Tipping, which followed a competitive tender procedure. Under the contract provisions, lottery’s e-Instant portfolio diversity and expansion is supported by NLS and sees it provide its own business development competence in the region of interactive games, according to the press release.
Back in April, NLS declared that Frank Cecchini was, for private reasons, stepping down from the role of Chief Executive Officer and that the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director at the time, Jakob Rothwangl, that has been with the firm for decades, could be, as well as his other responsibilities, assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer.
