Late last week, a topping-off service was hosted at the second tower of the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino at Milwaukee. Officials of the venue together with construction stakeholders and crews were on hand to mark the landmark as the project moves on into the inside portion.
Moving Forward:
The second hotel tower will be connected to an existing hotel tower that is 19 stories high and home into 381 guest rooms, built just four decades back. With the growth, the property will have the ability to provide 119 more guest rooms together with meeting area and a health spa.
The new venue is expected to open next spring, with the project being completed with no help from the town of Milwaukee. Gilbane Building Company is your builder behind the project. Work on the project has progressed fairly fast, with help from an existing base that was put in place when the first tower was created in 2014. The casino started steps back then to be ready for a future growth.

Ned Daniels Jr., the tribe chair of the Forest County Potawatomi, commented throughout the topping-off service by stating: “This hotel project is important not just to the continued success of the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino to offer you a first-rate entertainment alternative to Milwaukee and beyond, but also to continue to fuel our tribe’s investment in Milwaukee.
The brand new hotel tower isn’t the only component of this project. The land will be adding 70,000 square feet of distance between the match and the tower that will be available to host weddings, conventions and banquets.
The project has moved forward fairly quickly, considering the casino formally broke ground on the second hotel tower in December. The $80 million project continues to proceed, set to enable the property to host even more guests in the not too distant future.
