Having worked with Square Enix for fifteen decades, online gaming developer Microgaming wants to celebrate the long-running venture with a fresh online slot game. Microgaming declared this week that they have renewed their agreement to make a third match involving the Lara Croft brand.
Constant Relationship:
The arrangement with Square Enix to make a third branded match featuring Lara Croft helps to build on the association between the company and Microgaming. Both primary formed a partnership fifteen years ago with the development of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. The game introduced in 2004 and has been the first ever licensed branded slot game to be created. In 2008, the two worked together to make a sequel game, Tomb Raider: Secret of the Sword.

Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Clucas, commented on the match by saying: “We are incredibly excited to announce the renewal of our historic partnership with Square Enix to create a brand new Lara Croft online slot game which honors and builds on the brand’s massive recognition in the gaming business, movie and beyond. 2019 is our 15th anniversary with the brand and we plan to celebrate the unprecedented landmark with a tide of large reveals on a different show-stopping stand at ICE. ”
This year, the third installment in the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider genre will launch, revealed during the approaching ICE Entirely Gaming 2019. The new title will contain Lara naturally, taking players on a brand new quest along ancient paths. ICE Entirely Gaming 2019 is set to take place in London February 5th to the 7th. Additional information on the new Lara Croft game is going to be made available during the case, including demos for those attending.
