In western Canada, Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Restricted has announced its plan to spend approximately $53 million in order to build a new resort casino in the city of Delta was endorsed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.
Planned 2020 launching:
The Vancouver-based casino operator used a official Tuesday press release to detail the regulatory approval means it can now start constructing the planned Cascades Casino Delta together with all the 124-room enterprise now expected to start 2020 complete with a trio of restaurants alongside a casino containing up to 500 slots along with 24 gaming tables.
Strategic location:
Gateway Accounts for over a dozen gaming possessions throughout western Canada including the Grand Villa Casino in Burnaby as well as New Westminster’s Starlight Casino. The operator said that the coming 200,000 sq ft Cascades Casino Delta will employ up to 700 individuals and sit a 10.8-acre site located some 30 miles from downtown Vancouver and approximately 18 miles from the Canadian boundary with all the United States.
Expanding Cascades household:

Public engagement efforts:
Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited announced its plan to build Cascades Casino Delta in September of 2017 ahead of receiving preliminary approval from the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. The company subsequently endeavored to engage with the local community via multiple open houses, public information sessions and stakeholder demonstrations before being rewarded with local planning approval in August.
