Gaming and sportsbetting events organizer, SBC Events, has announced that it will be holding its inaugural Betting on Sports America extravaganza next year offering attendees the chance to take part in some 40 bespoke conferences spread across six distinct tracks covering everything from regulation and operation to sponsorship and marketing.
Meadowlands meet-up:
According to a Monday press release published by European Gaming Media and Events, the London-headquartered firm stated that Betting on Sports America is set to take place from April 24 to 25 inside northern New Jersey’s Meadowlands Exposition Center and has already received support from the likes of Hard Rock International and the Mississippi Gaming Commission.
PASPA reversal:
SBC Events revealed that its staging of Betting on Sports America follows May’s invalidation by the United States Supreme Court of the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) and will also see visitors treated to a wealth of networking opportunities as well as special events such as eSports workshops and affiliate boot camps.
Prominent sponsorship:
The organizer declared that Betting on Sports America is being sponsored by online and land-based gaming technologies firm BetConstruct as well as the new SG Digital subsidiary of American innovator, Scientific Games Corporation, and is to be prefaced with a special ‘pre-registration party’ in nearby New York City on April 23. It proclaimed that the very next day will see attendees invited to travel the short distance across the Hudson River in order to enjoy all of the activities taking place inside the 61,000 sq ft Meadowlands Exposition Center.
Prestigious line-up:
SBC detailed that the inaugural extravaganza is additionally being supported by sportsbetting and online gaming solutions provider, InBet Games, and is to return to Manhattan on the evening of April 25 for a ‘spectacular closing party’. It stated that this gathering should give the expected 1,500 delegates the chance to digest the many insights they will have received from the around 175 industry figures scheduled to speak, which will include Ed Comins, Managing Director for the firm behind WatchAndWager.com, Webis Holdings, and the Executive Director for the National Council on Problem Gaming, Keith Whyte.
Comins’ statement read…
“I can’t wait to play a part in the inaugural Betting on Sports America. I’m particularly pleased about horseracing’s inclusion in the conference agenda. There is no doubting there are opportunities for the sport but it needs to be positioned in the right way to fit the new environment.”
Exhibitors a-plenty:
Finally, the organizer explained that Betting on Sports America attendees will be able to check out the latest innovations from some 60 exhibitors while furthermore confirming that its list of speakers runs to May Scheve, Executive Director for the Missouri Lottery, along with the Central Brand Marketing Director for iGaming operator Kindred Group, Manuel Stan.
