After just last week procuring its Swedish gaming license, Maltese iGaming company, Bethard has declared that it has been granted another nationwide license, this time for Ireland.

A remote bookmaker’s license has been granted to the Bethard Group by the Irish Revenue Department. Receipt of the latest license makes for a total of five nationwide gaming licenses in Europe obtained by the business. The firm expects to secure extra licenses in the upcoming year.

Future licenses:
The business has also reportedly started work on a different state license for Germany‘s northernmost country, Schleswig-Holstein, in addition to for Spain.
Bethard is in the process of procuring licenses in several different markets also and expects with a licensed existence in the vast majority of European markets over the next year or so.
Bethard’s aim is to go live on the Irish’ marketplace following the New Year.
Last month, Bethard signed a five-year extension of its sportsbook supply bargain with British omni-channel online casino and sportsbetting solutions innovator, SBTech. And in October signed a commercial bargain using Malta-headquartered turnkey solution provider, Oryx Gaming.
