Leading restaurant and nightlife business, TAO Group, announced recently that the next year it might debut its flagship nightclub brand, Marquee, in the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore, where in January, TAO also launched its LAVO Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar. The upscale place will allegedly take over area once employed by one of the casino hotel ’s two theaters made to draw entertainment displays.
(NYSE: LVS) since January 2011, communicated the accession of this new nightclub would “continue to place Marina Bay Sands within an unparalleled nightlife destination.
The Paradise, Nevada-based company founded by billionaire business magnate, Sheldon Adelson, owns and works Marina Bay Sands. Among its properties in the U.S., it owns The Venetian and The Palazzo in Las Vegas where TAO Group includes its own LAVO Italian Restaurant and Lounge, in Addition to its own TAO beach, TAO Nightclub and TAO Restaurant.
In a recent joint press release by the new partners, it had been conveyed that Marquee Singapore would introduction in 2019 in a space spanning three floors, with a full-size Ferris wheel and 21-meter-high (69ft) ceilings.
Located in the U.S., TAO Group boasts operations in New York City, where in 2003, the first Marquee nightclub debuted in Los Angeles, Sydney, Australia and Las Vegas, where its Marquee Dayclub and Marquee Nightclub are present in The Cosmopolitan.
One of four spouses, Noah Tepperberg, was quoted in the press release as stating, “This second adaption of this Marquee brand is unmatched in style and detail and will truly be one of the most outstanding nightclubs in the world,” GGRAsia reports.
In February 2017, Madison Square Garden Company allegedly paid $181 million to get a 62.5% stake in TAO category, with its founders Marc Packer, Rich Wolf, Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss keeping a 37.5% stake in the organization and maintaining day-to-day operations.
