Racing data supplier SIS has secured a deal with the Korean Racing Authority (KRA) allowing the company to broadcast live coverage, pictures and data in two Korean racecourses to retail and internet bookmakers in the UK, Ireland and Spain.
The deal covers the racecourses in Seoul and Busan, with races running from Friday to Sunday. Busan will host fittings on Friday mornings (UK time) and Seoul on Saturday and Sunday mornings (UK time).
“I’ve no doubt racing fans will be quite happy with the quality of the racing on screen and that I’m convinced the fast-paced action will even appeal to a host of new admirers as we promote it in Europe,” Simon Fraser, Head of International Horseracing at SIS Betting, said.
The 1680 Korean races each year combine a thorough stable of overseas horseracing that currently includes racing from Dubai, Latin America, Singapore and Mauritius.
Seongwon Jeon, Executive Director of Marketing at the Korean Racing Authority, included: &ldquo ;We are extremely happy to be partnering with SIS, with their capacity to supply operators with a premium quality end-to-end gambling content solution that will help us grow fascination with Korean racing around the world. ”
