In Macau, the boss for MGM Resorts International has reportedly declared his company ’s MGM Cotai incorporated casino hotel has opened a block of high-end Mansion-branded villas in an attempt to further differentiate itself from the competition.
Japan jaunt:
According to a Friday report from GGRAsia citing a previous story from the Bloomberg news agency, James Murren (pictured), Chief Executive Officer for the Las Vegas-based operator, created the revelation whilst on a recent trip to Japan where his company is hoping to secure one of the country ’s three up-for-grabs casino licenses.
‘Luxury accommodation’ assertion:
Murren reportedly explained the brand new villas as ‘the last word in luxury accommodation’ and that their opening followed MGM Cotai’s premiere in February of a Mansion-branded luxury gaming place. He purportedly moreover detailed the attribute had taken his company ’s overall investment at the Cotai Strip land to approximately $3.5 billion although it may be prepared to stump up even more money in the future.

“The gains have started to ramp up there as we’re developing more of our VIP business. We are long-term believers at the Macau market and we’d love over time to spend more.
Staggered launching:
MGM Cotai is operated by MGM Resorts International’s local MGM China Holdings Limited subsidiary and also this latter company ’s Chief Executive Officer, Grant Bowie, reportedly told GGRAsia the 1,400-room property will soon debut more Mansion-branded villas.
