Jan Marshall (pictured) was named general manager of the under-construction Hotel Okura Manila that’s located within the Resorts World Manila complex. The new ultra-luxury property is slated to open its doors to the public in Q1 2019 in Manila, Philippines.

Marshall is a University of Nevada, Las Vegas hospitality faculty alum and reportedly has a diverse working experience across the USA and Asia, where he has worked for the previous two decades.
Decades of expertise :
Marshall previously served as General Manager for Hotel Nikko Osaka.
He’s spent upwards of 15 years using Okura Nikko Hotel Management and is a Managing Executive Officer.

Third-phase expansion:
The brand new 170-room resort is situated near Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). It is a component of the third-phase growth of the Resorts World Manila incorporated resort, situated in Newport City. Located as a gateway into the country’s financial district, Makati City, the brand new resort will offer seamless accessibility to Manila’s business and leisure centers.
The resort will offer 60 square meter (645 square feet) rooms, a pool and fitness center together with numerous dining options, such as conventional Spanish and fine dining Japanese restaurant “Yamazato,” all-day dining and a pub.
The second place for the Hotel Okura brand to be situated in a casino resort in Asia, with Hotel Okura Macau located at Galaxy Macau casino resort in town ’s Cotai district.
The Japanese resort group is reportedly seeking to cultivate its worldwide portfolio to comprise 100 properties, primarily in the Asian area.
