The introduction of parking fees in Las Vegas Strip properties has not been keeping visitors away, based on Caesars Entertainment Corp..
The casino said Thursday his firm has looked into whether parking prices at its Strip possessions were high by launching a 30-day advertising that offered complementary parking in its LINQ Hotel. The advertising aimed to test customer reaction and whether there are any gain in the amount of visits.
Caesars introduced parking fees last year. It then raised hotel fees at some of its properties across the Strip this past February and raised parking fees at people in March. According to Mr. Frissora, the customer comments they’ve received over the past several months has not indicated that people happen to be steering away from their possessions, despite the greater prices.
Caesars rival MGM Resorts International, which manages the largest variety of hotel and casino hotels across the Strip, was the first to introduce parking fees in its possessions. Wynn Resorts is the other Strip operator to have implemented such fees. However, the company rolled out certain changes to its parking coverage earlier this season, treating customers that invest more than 50 in its Strip possessions to parking.
