Casinos across the United States offer their players promotional opportunities where things could be obtained, such as event tickets, dining moves and even vehicles. The winner of the drawing is now suing the casino after stating the casino wrongly denied her the trophy after winning.
No Display, No Prize:
Rivers hosted the Jaguar XE Giveaway past summer, allowing gamers to earn entries into the exceptional drawing by using their Rush Rewards Players Club Card. Deanna Dipofi visited the casino and had made entrances. She was selected as the winner but wasn’t present during the drawing. Since she wasn’t on site, the prize when to a different player.
The attorneys for Dipofi are claiming that they failed to stipulate that the winning player had to be onsite during the drawing, without a condition set on claiming the trophy. The attorney team representing Dipofi, Alan Ripka & Associates, are situated in Manhatton and said that the casino has given such conditions in previous promotional drawings.
According to The Daily Gazette…
Ripka said that other drawings had states on promotional materials that said the prize could be lowered if the winner wasn’t on site to claim it during the drawing. For the drawing in question, there was no restriction set up on the existence of the winner. The attorneys are claiming that a stipulation wasn’t made and the casino new that such a condition required to be said clearly.
No Record Yet:
So far, the Rivers has not commented on this circumstance. The casino appears to be staying silent as a result of impending litigation over the matter.
