Kneeland C. Youngblood was appointed manager of vegas -based gaming system and systems innovator, Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS).

Youngblood assumed the role of manager for the programmer of technology-based services and products and related content for its gaming, lottery and interactive gaming businesses, on August 1, 2018.
The recently elected director will allegedly serve on the Board’s compliance committee as well as its compensation committee.

Per the company’s press release, Youngblood is the chairman and founding partner of physician-founded private equity firm, Pharos Capital Group, LLC. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Dallas and Nashville, the firm invests in the company and healthcare services sectors.
Youngblood currently serves on the boards of Reel FX, an electronic studio located in Dallas, Texas and Santa Monica, California. The digital studio develops and produces award-winning animated films, short form content and virtual reality experiences.
He currently serves on the board of multinational cloud manager and data center infrastructure automation company, Egenera, and Employee Benefit Solutions.
Youngblood also functions as a director of special purpose acquisition company, TPG Pace Holdings Corp, and of specialty pharmaceutical business, Mallinckrodt plc..

Youngblood graduated in 1978 from Princeton University with an A.B. at Politics/Science at Human Affairs and in 1982 earned a doctor of medicine from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School.
