Integrated resort developer and operator in Macau, Sands China Ltd (1928:Hong Kong), has reportedly paid all its eligible employees a discretionary incentive, the equal to a month’s wages, according to the Friday announcement.
Citing a Sands China media release, GGRAsia reports the subsidiary of American casino giant, Las Vegas Sands Corporation, declared it will pay the incentive on the last day of January 2019, “in recognition of their contributions in 2018, with no aggregate amount specified in the document.
Rewards increase:
Sands China also announced that all eligible team members might expect to be given a salary increase effective March 1, 2019. Sands China reportedly went on to convey that 99% of the company ’s roughly 28,000 workers would benefit from the wage growth.
GGRAsia further reports that based on the media release, all eligible full-time workers of the firm who make a monthly wage of up to MOP13,000 (US$1,609), will be given a pay hike of MOP600 per month. Sands reportedly said that signifies involving 4.6 percent to 6.0 percent growth for workers in that specific wage bracket.
The Sheldon Adelson-headed company’s eligible workers who make a monthly salary of more than MOP13,000 will reportedly get a normal increment of 2.5 percent, based on Sands China.
