Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas will start next week a plethora of new food and drink facilities and entertainment places to observe the completion of stage one of its ongoing $620-million renovation.
The casino complex originally opened doors in 2001. Station Casinos purchased it in 2016 and declared that the property would under go multi-million reimagination the following calendar year. Back in February, construction employees brought down Palms’ iconic marquee after a 17-year run as part of the property-wide renovation process to replace it with a modern, electronic signal.
Station Casinos announced earlier this week that a number of centers will likely be unveiled on May 18 to mark a finished first stage of the multi-phase project. Jon Gray, General Manager in the casino hotel, has told media that they’ve partnered celebrity chefs, renowned musicians and artists, and nightlife suppliers, among others, to supply their guests with the best possible day and nighttime experience.
The renovated Palms will comprise artwork installations with works by widely known artists, such as Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, and Dustin Yellin. Visitors will also be able to see recently commissioned works by Eric Haze, Adam Parker Smith, Timothy Curtis, along with other popular modern artists.
Palms will also launch the Scotch 80 Prime premier steakhouse, the 143-seat Lucky Penny Café, in Addition to the APEX Social Club and Camden Cocktail Lounge within the May 18 celebrations.
Palms’ gambling floor has also undergone renovation to match the criteria required by the modern gambling customer. The casino was added 40 new table games, with charging outlets at lots of the seats across the tables. The venue already features over 1,100 slot and video poker machines. The recently added High Limit Gaming Chair center bar will provide gaming experience for fans of high stakes action.
The iconic Palms marquee, which, as mentioned above, was brought back earlier this year, was replaced with a 126-foot-tall dual-sided LED screen marquee to welcome visitors and guests of the renovated property.
Station Casinos is yet to complete the projected transformation of its own Fantasy Tower guest rooms, suites and six sky villas. Work on these is expected to be finished by the autumn of 2018. But, there’ll be suites and rooms available for booking for the summer. Guests intending to remain at those are going to be able to reserve them from May 14.
The first two will debut their restaurants this autumn, while the third will be launched at the spring of 2019. A new nightclub and a day-time pool club are, also, set to debut next spring. These can be operated by popular nightlife and restaurant company TAO Group.
