At Oklahoma, the federally-recognized Osage Nation allegedly opened the $150 million expansion of its Osage Casino Tulsa place earlier now complete with a enlarged around-the-clock gaming floor which encompasses approximately 1,000 slots.
Casino with an in-house brewery:
According to a Wednesday report by local television broadcaster KOTV, the enlarged Osage County property, which can be run by the tribe’s Osage Nation Gaming Enterprise Board vehicle, also now offers a 141-room hotel and a 4,000 sq ft brewery featuring beers brewed in-house by Texas company, Nine Band Brewing Company, by way of a 20-barrel Prospero system.
The 247,000 sq ft gaming floor inside the north west Tulsa property now also features 39 high-limit machines and 20 table games along with five poker tables together with the tribe planning to use any revenues to fund its assortment of health, cultural and educational programs.
Lounge by the pool:
Ten years before making, the extension has changed the Osage Casino Tulsa into a resort-style property which currently has a 120,000-gallon pool which could comfortably accommodate up to 240 people.
As if all of this wasn’t enough, the enlarged venue also comes with a 15-chair tanning ledge, a pool-side bar and a fire pit in addition to a 6,000 sq ft outdoor entertainments area using a 15-person spa.
Economic benefits:
The paper reported that Osage Nation is in charge of six other casinos in Oklahoma surrounding the Osage Casino Bartlesville, Osage Casino Hominy, Osage Casino Pawhuska, Osage Casino Ponca City, Osage Casino Sand Springs and Osage Casino Skiatook properties. The Tulsa property is currently the tribe’s largest facility and it’s believed that the venture will contribute about $32 million a year into the local economy through wages and salaries.
