Three teens and two adults are confronting significant fees after allegedly robbing the Lucky Star Casino of Lake Charles, Louisiana. A total of five individuals are behind bars following four of the person allegedly worked together with a safety guard of their venue to execute the robbery.
Early Morning Robbery:
Only two patrons were onsite at the match once the robbery happened in the early morning . About 4:30 am, two masked people approached the place using a gun, demanding money from the safety guard. The guard gave the people money and they fled. The two robbers were discovered to be seventeen decades old, one being Tre’von Gray and the other being Joshua Stewart.
The two teens got away in a vehicle driven by Amie Nelson, a 38 year old female. Reportedly, Amie is the fiancé of Brandon Cornell Guillory, the 38 year old security guard of this casino. The 2 adults along with the teens, Gray and Stewart, and one more teen, 17 year old Jashone Dean Beverly, the robbery was planned and executed.
Planning that the Robbery:
According to police, both Nelson and Beverly were seen on surveillance cameras in the Louisiana casino intending outside the robbery. Nelson acted as the motorist during the first visit to the match and during the robbery. To try and block the investigation, Guillory used his position as the safety guard of the casino to offer police with false details.
Deputies handling the investigation could recoup the stolen money as well as items that were used during the robbery. For Gray, Nelson, Stewart and Beverly, every person faces one count of armed robbery and one count of armed robbery with a firearm. As for security guard Guillory, he was arrested and charged with being engaged in the armed robbery.
