German slots player scores $3.5 million Dollar on NetEnt’s Super Fortune

NetEnt’s Mega Fortune has done it again, as a German player landed a €3.5m (US$4,050,455m) jackpot at PokerStars Casino becoming a millionaire overnight!

After working late and arriving at home some time around 9pm, the journalist from Lower Saxony, Germany decided a Mega Fortune online slots session might help him to unwind. He popped a pizza in the oven and while waiting for it to finish cooking, he won the largest ever online win at PokerStars Casino when the three white arrows aligned on the wheels after depositing just over €2 (US$2.31).

According to the Stockholm-headquartered NetEnt AB (NETB:Stockholm), the husband and wife will make a few purchases with their prize money, including an SUV and a holiday home. They also reportedly plan on renovating their home and setting aside some of the funds from the big win for their two children’s college fees. Their families members will also share in the couple’s new-found wealth.

This year alone, there have been a total of eight jackpots from Mega Fortune that have hit for over one million euros.

Prior to the current windfall, the last big win was this summer when on July 30, a Swedish player on LetsBet.com landed a life-changing €5,984,456 (US$6,933,161) jackpot, and immediately had their windfall boosted by €650,000 (US$753,043) courtesy of NetEnt’s Mega Million promotion.
