The bidding procedure to get a casino license in Elliniko, a multi-billion-euro project for an integrated hotel in the site of the prior Hellinikon airport nearby Athens, should be launched by the end of August, as shown by a listing of pending privatization activities issued from the Greek authorities.
Local news outlet Ekathimerini reported earlier today, citing authorities newspapers, the tender should be announced by August 31 so that the preferred bidder could become known by the close of the year when the privatization of the former airport will be concluded.
