Boxing promoter Matchroom Boxing and sports websites company Perform Group have created “a milestone $1billion joint venture and also the biggest-ever bargain in boxing” following a significant streaming partnership with Perform’s DAZN.
Described as historic, the eight-year $1 Billion deal will see the J.V. Matchroom Boxing USA stage 16 fights a year featuring some of the game’s biggest stars around America.
Perform Group’s live and on-demand streaming service, DAZN, are the exclusive US broadcast partner for the 16 US battle nights plus Matchroom’s existing 16 battle nights in the united kingdom.
“This iconic investment at the conflicts, talent, content, and promotion of boxing will reignite lovers’ passion for the game and engage a new generation of struggle fans,” a press statement reads.
