Situated on Aruba’s Palm Beach on 12 acres of beachfront property, the $21 million redesign has been headed by Atlanta-based design studio Blur Workshop.
According to Travel Agent Central, while modern lodging are being introduced, the redesign keeps the island’s Caribbean and Dutch Colonial architecture beams.
Casino & additional conveniences :
The island house comprises Hyatt Regency Casino, which features 13 gaming tables, 221 slot machine machines, 19 video poker machines along with a casino bar serving hand-rolled cigars and exotic beverages. Hotel amenities include nine restaurants and pubs, a full size spa, 8,000-sq feet, three-level pool complex, 24-hour gym, business centre, over 33,000 square feet of event space, two lighted tennis courts and much more.
One of the changes to the guestrooms are fresh furnishings all done in soothing, cooling colors, rugs, pillows and bedding, headboards, lounging furniture, 65” TVs, motion light detector lighting, glass-faced refrigerator, custom-made drapery and much more.
Also, completely reimagined are the guestroom baths, which have been enlarged and feature granite countertops, and in keeping with all the neutral color palette, white oak vanities complemented with brushed nickel fixtures and Kohler accessories. Additionally, the recently installed mirrors about the vanities are backlit and feature incorporated electronic clocks.
Regency Club Lounge relocation:
The Regency Club Lounge was relocated from the top floor of this resort to the ground level. The new location provides guests with easy access from the casino, beach and pool. The place is exclusive to guests of this floor Club level.
