(Nasdaq: CNTY), announced Thursday the casino, sports bar, off-track betting lounge and restaurant at its Century Mile Racetrack and Casino close to the city of Leduc in Alberta, Canada will start on April 1, 2019, to be followed by a grand opening celebration planned for the evening of April 27.
The racino’s one-mile racetrack will kick off the horse racing year with thoroughbred racing the following day on April 28, according to the official press launch .

Located just south of Edmontonoff of one of Western Canada’s heavily used highways, the Queen Elizabeth II Highway, the company anticipates its $US46.6 million (Feb. 26, 2019 trade rate-based) investment will profit from its location close to the Edmonton International Airport, retail outlets, a shopping mall, a golf course, hotels and a multitude of other companies.

A distance of seven furlongs will be accessible at both Century Mile Racetrack and Casino and Century Downs in North Calgary, located about 160 miles from Century Mile. According to coordinated racing calendars, both tracks will even feature Thoroughbred, Standardbred and Quarterhorse racing through the year.
Major races 2019:
