After months of deliberation, the companies which were added to the shortlist of the 2018 Global Gambling Awards Las Vegas have now been contacted. Self-nominations in addition to the eight-member nomination panel recommendations were finished, after a long and detailed consideration process. The winners will be named on October 8th during a luncheon hosted at G2E at the Sands Expo Las Vegas.
The upcoming awards ceremony marks the 5th edition, celebrating the major accomplishments in the gaming industry by leading companies. Twelve awards are to be passed out during the ceremony together with each award category having ten nominees.
A nomination from the international Gaming Awards is considered a indication of success for any business, with operators and other gambling industry leaders hoping to make the cut. This past Year, such firms as Bet365, MGM Resorts, Scientific Games and Wynn Resorts made an award win.

This season ’s Awards will comprise four new categories, including:
- American Executive of the Year
- Slot of the Year
- Real Estate of the Year
- Product Innovation of the Year
Selecting the Winners:
The firms who’ve been nominated now can send at a statement which will be considered by the judges. The panel consists of over 65 individuals, all which will help decide the winners. The KPMG Isle of Man will help with the voting process to ensure transparency and fairness.
In September, the International Gambling Awards Las Vegas 2018 Shortlist magazine is going to be made accessible, dispersed during G2E, where the nominees in the categories can be looked at.
