Novomatic AG to run Corporate Coding Academy

Giant Austrian gaming company, Novomatic AG, has declared it has begun accepting applications from budding game developers keen to enroll from the inaugural edition of its Corporate Coding Academy coaching program.

The Austrian firm is the parent of online and mobile software developer Greentube and clarified via an official Monday press launch that its newest Corporate Coding Academy strategy is set to start welcoming ‘programming personalities ’ in November before sending them on a six-month path to becoming junior game programmers.

“We all need game developers and our plan is to utilize this program, unique in Austria, to make sure that our newest recruits are perfectly trained,” read a statement from Klaus Niedl, Global Human Resources Director for Novomatic AG. “As one of the largest gaming technology companies in the world, we also create games for your digital/interactive sector. It’s fastest growing sector in the entire gaming industry. ”

The Gumpoldskirchen-headquartered firm clarified that its Corporate Coding Academy training program is to be modulated by ‘very experienced specialists from the applications and game development businesses ’ and offer participants ‘technical input’ as well as insights to its game development studios and processes.

Novomatic AG declared that instruction is to be broken up into three distinct eight-week stages and be hosted in a trio of its own studios in Austria. It stated that participants will be able to benefit from flexible on-the-job coaching sessions covering the online and traditional verticals while moreover encompassing total game growth alongside affiliated programming languages including SDL/OpenGL and C++.

“Continued technological advancement is an important part of our company strategy and we simply have to have motivated and well-trained talents,” read the statement from Niedl. “This is the reason why we set the Organization Coding Academy in order to discover the game programmers of their near future, to train them and, if possible, to keep them inside the company. ”
