Sportech has completed the acquisition of UK-based online lottery solutions supplier LOT.TO Systems.
Online gambling and entertainment company Sportech said the arrangement will help solidify its worldwide gaming possibilities and services position.
Sportech takes a 100% in the company and noticed that the move will also enable the company to expand its suite of gambling services.
Financial details of the arrangement are not revealed, however, Sportech has stated that the move will be non-material in the context of the category.
Sportech executive chairman Richard McGuire stated:
“In addition, it will accelerate a strategy to further develop those expansion opportunities, consolidate our sport betting capability, enhance our current lottery product capabilities and support that the digital evolution of our global pari-mutuel capabilities in an efficient and effective manner. ”
Award-winning Lottery Games & iLottery Software LOT.TO has worked with gambling businesses including Lottoland and CelebPoker, in addition to Sky and Virgin. The organization ’s products include lottery and gambling games in addition to player management systems provided via its cloud-based iLottery platform.
Sportech has revealed its plans to acquire the UK-based online lottery solutions supplier in November 2018, just days after the firm issued a profit warning and announced the departure of CEO Andrew Gaughan.
