A statement by Wynn Resorts revealed…
That Ms Whittemore’s new roles within the firm took effect earlier this month, on the 16th, 1 day after Kim Sinatra had resigned in the function as the firm’s corporate secretary, general counsel and vice president. Ms. Sinatra had been with the firm since 2004 and held several titles during her years . No motive has been given for her exit.
The plank of Wynn Resorts has changed quite a bit over the last few months since the firm has dealt with all the sexual harassment allegations confronted by the creator of the business, Steve Wynn. Mr. Wynn resigned in February due to the allegations and so far, as far as 60 percent of the directors on the board have left the business.
As members are departing, new folks are coming in. Shortly after Ms. Sinatra’s death, it was declared that Erik Hansen would be working together with the company, taking on a new role as Chief Sustainability Officer. This appointment was made just a brief time after three new directors were added to the board in April.
