At Chile, the Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego (SJC) gaming regulator was allegedly due to hold a meeting on Friday to test bids from people interested in operating a brand new casino due to become licensed for the central city of Pucon.
According to a report from G3Newswire, the SJC has also been tasked with choosing the firms to run coming casinos for the cities of Puerto Natales, Iquique, Arica, Coquimbo, Puerto Varas and Vina Del Mar with the greatest licensees due to be selected by the end of next month according to their abilities to stimulate the economies of host areas.
The SJC’s Vivien Villagran Acuna allegedly told G3Newswire that the Pucon contest has the closest deadline while the regulator meant to conduct an original ‘technical evaluation’ of those numerous bids yesterday before moving on to discuss their respective financial qualities at a subsequent date.
&ldquoWe have a meeting with all the deciding council to generate the final proposal for the technical evaluation of their bids,” Acuna allegedly told G3Newswire on Wednesday. “After that occurs and it’s supported by the council…[we will] generate a resolution that indicates exactly what the scores are. G3Newswire reported that the seven coming casinos were approved as part of 2005 legislation which has so far seen the Chilean casino market add eleven fresh venues.
